Chandler High School Teacher Appreciation Day

May 26, 2021

On Wednesday, May 26th the Hundley Foundation will be providing a teacher appreciation day to teachers and staff at Chandler High School by providing 300 meals to all staff members. Brett Hundley graduated from Chandler High School in 2011. “I’m extremely excited to be able to give back to the school that gave so much to me during my time at Chandler High School.” While at Chandler High School Brett played football and received a first-class education from all the teachers and staff. Brett started the Hundley Foundation in 2019 with his sister Paris. Brett has made it a priority to give back to the community he grew up in. Earlier this year the Hundley Foundation announced the creation of the Brett Hundley Scholarship. Each year the foundation will fund scholarships for Chandler High School students to continue their education at a university, community college, or trade school.

Brett also wanted to make sure the graduating class of 2021 felt special. “It’s been a rough two years for this graduating class. Their resiliency and ability to adapt to the changes and challenges they have faced will serve them well in the future. I know the teachers and staff at Chandler High School played an intricate part in their success.” Brett sent an autographed congratulation card to all 900 graduating seniors. He also tapped a special video message, with the help of his friend Rick Harrison for the TV show Pawn Stars.
